Triumph 1952 650cc Thunderbird
The Triumph 1952 650cc Thunderbird is a classic motorcycle with a 4-speed manual gear box, petrol fuel tank, and chain drive. Made by Triumph in Meriden England, this model is known for its iconic Thunderbird design in a sleek black colour. It features a traditional kick start system that adds to the overall vintage feel of the bike, making it a popular choice among motorcycle enthusiasts looking for a piece of history to ride.
Purchased as a non-runner, this 1952 650 Thunderbird is one of the best examples of a nut and bolt restoration. Its history shows it was a UK model and was dispatched to CN Chequer of Chippenham Wiltshire, 29th August 1952.
This bike was featured in Classic Bike magazine March 2018 for which a copy will be part of the bike's sale. It is road legal with Tax and MOT not applicable to Classic motorcycles.
All parts, where possible, are genuine and were supplied by Ace Classics. The reason for sale is that other bike projects are now on the bench and this Thunderbird does not get used as it should. It has done 2050 miles since 2018, is a very easy laid back bike to ride, with plenty of torque power if required.
A stunning looking bike with a defining style of the 1950's.
