Yamaha XT250 1982

£6,250.00

This Yamaha XT250 is a beautifully presented and very low-mileage example, restored to a high standard and showing just 29 miles since completion.
The chassis number corresponds to a 1981 model, manufactured in July 1982.

The bike was imported to the UK by DK Motorcycles in 2017 and subsequently restored in 2021, at which point it was first registered in the UK (May 2021). We purchased the bike in March 2022.

The restoration has been carried out to a very high standard, resulting in a clean, and very cool machine. Mechanically, the engine has been rebuilt and the rolling chassis has been suitably assembled for on and off-road use. It feels sorted and is an easy comfortable ride with no hidden issues. It starts and runs as it should and presents as a well-sorted example ready for daily use or display. With just 29 miles covered since restoration, it has seen very little use, which is why we are selling it

Supporting paperwork and bills are present, documenting parts purchased during the rebuild, which gives confidence in the work undertaken.
Cosmetically, the bike is a standout. The silver tank with XT graphics, gold painted rims and classic trail styling give it a strong period-correct appearance. The overall finish reflects the care and attention taken during restoration.

The bike is currently SORN’d and was last MOT’d in 2021 at the point of UK registration.

In summary, this is a very well-restored, low-mileage XT250 with excellent visual appeal and supporting history—an ideal candidate for a collector or enthusiast. This Yamaha XT250 is an exceptionally clean and well-presented example, showing just 29 miles from new. It’s a rare find in this condition, with very light use, It starts easily, runs cleanly, and performs exactly as it should.
Cosmetically, the bike is particularly strong. The tank, bodywork, and frame are all in very good condition, with a crisp, sharp appearance that really sets it apart.
